This site maintained by the Biotechnology Club of the University of Northern Iowa. We started this blog as a collection of hot stories in biotechnology to keep up with new developments in the field. We have also started building up a knowledge base about biotechnology by setting up informative pages covering selected aspects in biotechnology. All this material serves as a starting point for discussions in biotechnology related courses given at UNI.
I need to stress that most (if not all) posts on this site are taken from other websites, blogs, or pages. There will always be a link to the original source. If you feel we did not give enough credit for any case, please contact Dr. Schwekendiek. Please also let us know if you have any questions or want to contribute to this site. Contribution by UNI students is most welcome. Contributing to this blog (preferably with own blog posts) is a great chance to show your knowledge in the field and build up your resume.
